Records You Can Have Without a Request
PAIA section 52 notice. Date of this notice: 16 October 2026
A description of the categories of records of RMexpertise Consultants (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2011/002770/07), which runs Karii, that are automatically available without a request for access, made voluntarily under section 52(1) of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) and regulation 5 of the PAIA Regulations, 2021.
You can read or save the records below without asking us and without a PAIA request form. To ask for any other record of the company, follow the steps in our PAIA manual.
1. Available to anyone
- Privacy Policy: What personal information Karii collects and why, who processes it and where, how long it is kept, and your rights under POPIA. Where: karii.ai/privacy.
- Terms of Use: The terms on which the company offers Karii. Where: karii.ai/terms.
- PAIA manual: The records the company holds, how to ask for them, and how it processes personal information. Where: karii.ai/paia. Also open for inspection at our principal place of business during normal business hours.
- This notice: The categories of records you can have without a request. Where: karii.ai/paia/notice. Also open for inspection at our registered head office (see section 4).
- Public pages of karii.ai: The home page (how Karii works, pricing and common questions) and the pages that describe Karii’s features. Where: karii.ai.
2. Available to a Karii user, about themselves
- Your own personal information: A copy of your Karii data, with links to the files Karii still keeps, such as CV files and mock-interview recordings. The links work for an hour. Where: signed in to your own account, Settings → Data & privacy → Export everything, up to five times a day.
3. Copies and fees
Every record above is free to read and save where it is shown. If you would like a copy in another form, for example printed, ask our Information Officer. The only fee we may charge for that copy is the reproduction fee in items 2 to 8 of the table “Fees in Respect of Private Bodies” in Annexure B to the PAIA Regulations, 2021 (PAIA section 52(3) and regulation 5(3)).
